Anyone who has ever taken a drive, ride, or walk along the Historic Columbia River Highway will be excited to hear about Oregon’s plans to rebuild the Mitchell Point Tunnel. When I-84 was developed the tunnel was demolished. When the rebuilding of Michell Point Tunnel reconnects The Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail there will likely be an epic celebration.
