Clem Ogilby, of Best Oregon Tours
Clem is an independent, certified tour director having graduated from the International Tour Management Institute in San Francisco and from the Barbieri Center in Rome, Italy. As a former restoration contractor and founder of Best Oregon Tours, he passionately interprets a love of all things cultural while helping to preserve the built and natural environment. As a volunteer preservation advocate, this has resulted in numerous historic preservation and sustainability success stories in Portland, the Willamette Valley and his native New England. He particularly enjoys being a host and group leader to multicultural visitors to the Pacific NW and Portland where the “riches of the City are its people” and also where fine coffees, superb local wines, craft beers and culinary adventures are in great abundance. When not on the road, Clem makes his home on a small farm in the foothills of the Oregon Cascades with his wife of 36 years, their two canine companions and a 400 lb. llama named Buck.
