Rebecca Gandy will speak about basic estate planning steps everyone with property and family should take.  Whether their goals are as specific as to preserve the family farm, or as general as avoiding family struggle and stress in the event of incapacity, it is important to talk through these steps with your family, and when complicated, with an attorney.   

From a business perspective, there are vehicles to plan for an employee’s departure, the founder’s incapacity, the succession of Mom & Pop’s store and other considerations that bear some thought. 

Ten years ago, Rebecca was introduced to the natural beauty of the Gorge and Small Town America.  She has happily lived in Corbett with her two daughters ever since.   Rebecca never lacks for things to do because she prioritizes community: Rebecca is President of the Springdale Community School Association and is the props manager for her daughter’s theatre program.  She is also an active member of the West Columbia Gorge Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center and the Crown Point Country Historical Society.
