This horseback riding tour stages in a private meadow on the far west side of the Hood River Valley. Starting below the forest, our trail gently climbs steadily upward. We’ll enter the deep shade of mature trees, moving along fern grottos and cascading streams, to views high above the Columbia River Gorge. Weather permitting we’ll ride the TeePee trail, a now private forest trail once traveled by Native American pioneers.
Wrangler’s Note – We’ll get your photo with the Mitchell Point Overlook from up high! Cowboy up, we’ll bring loaner boots and riding helmets if requested in advance.
