Clear Lake Campground View of Lake

As the sun starts warming up for summer, camping is sure to follow. Although we all have our favorites it is always fun to try out a new place to pitch a tent. Clear Lake Campground is located in the Mt. Hood Wilderness Area. Clear Lake is great for swimming, picnicking, hiking, day or night camping, and it has a boat ramp. This camp includes restrooms and water, costing $20 per night. Read about ‘Happy Hikers Happy Campers’ Kayla B.’s experience at Clear Lake below.

This campground is awesome! The views of the lake are stunning! If you’re lucky enough, you can get a site that has views and quick access to the lake. When we stayed, the two best sites were already reserved (though no one ever showed up to claim them!) Luckily, there was one site (#3) directly across from those two sites, so we weren’t too far from the lake.
