Cascade Locks, is situated at the very heart of the Columbia River Gorge, where the mountains tower up to 4,000-feet above the river, and waterfalls tumble from the heights to reach the river near sea level below. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, you can relax, slow down a bit, and take in the grandeur. Bike the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail that follows along the river, winding through old-growth forest, offering spectacular scenery and mist along the waterfall corridor. Go sightseeing (we are the closest town to Multnomah Falls!). Hike trails to hidden waterfalls, or vast vistas. Set out to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. Take a selfie at the PCT Monument.
