Double Mountain is named for the two big volcanoes seen from Hood River, Mount Hood and Mount Adams. The address is Eight Fourth St., downtown; doublemountainbrewery.com. During summer it is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., plus an extra hour later on weekends.
The sidewalk tables are popular in summer, while the inside has expanded over the years to add a second bar, lots more seating and a music stage (with entertainment most Thursdays and Saturdays).
