Richard A. Weill has been a practicing lawyer in the greater Portland area for 38 years. In 1995 he purchased the historic Troutdale State Bank Building in downtown Troutdale and has been providing legal services in Troutdale, Gresham, Corbett, Sandy, and the Columbia Gorge communities since then.

With 38 years of experience Mr. Weill has extensive experience in debtor-creditor, business, family law, real estate, personal injury, probate (guardianship, conservatorship, estates), wills, and other litigation and transactional matters. Mr. Weill’s probate experience includes acting as personal representative and Trustee (private fiduciary) to administer estates. Mr. Weill frequently serves as Arbitrator in civil disputes for the court system.
Mr. Weill has served as a Pro-Tem Circuit Judge for the Oregon Judicial Department since 2004, serving in over 14 counties, has served his profession with two terms on the state bar professional responsibility board (lawyer discipline) and as Special Investigator and Grader for the Oregon Board of Bar Examiners (BBX). He has served his east Multnomah County home community as volunteer Firefighter/EMR.
