DESCRIPTION:The 4th Annual Harry’s Fresh Foods BITE OF EAST COUNTY will be held at Columbia Park on July 29th and 30th\, 2016. The Bite of East County is a fun celebration of our culture\, our food\, our people and our extraordinary quality of life. \nFriday\, July 29th: Battle of the Bands starts at 6pm\, with six local young bands competing for a cash prize. Doors open at 5pm. \nSaturday\, July 30th: Stroll through the celebration while checking out all of the food vendors and listening to live music between 11:30am and 8pm. \nAdmission is $5 per person\, children under 12 admitted free with paying adult. All proceeds go to Zarephath Kitchen and Pantry. Zarephath Kitchen and Pantry served over 185\,000 meals in 2015 helping low-income families and the homeless in Gresham\, Troutdale\, Wood Village\, Fairview and surrounding areas. The continued need is great\, and the focus is those needing a helping hand.
