Come out to the Columbia River Gorge’s Eastside Garden Tour ‘Sun Drops’ this Saturday, June 13th. These amazing gardens will be open from 10 am until 4 pm, tickets and accompanying maps will be available the day of the tour at 32201 East Historic Columbia River Hwy, Corbett Oregon 97019. Come explore the rain-blessed river communities of the West Columbia Gorge as you stroll from one garden and pass inspiring natural views to the next gardener’s pride. Leave the hectic pace of the surrounding world and enter into the lush landscapes near the Historic Columbia River Highway, once known as “The King of the Roads.”Gardens open 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on June 13, 2015. Tickets for this self-guided tour are $20 and children under 13 are free. 

Proceeds will benefit Crown Point Historical Society. The mission of the Society is to preserve and share the history that includes of the western end and surrounding area of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Plans are underway for a 3,500 square foot museum building to house and share the archives and collections. Tools, boats and large machinery used in fishing, farming and logging will be on display on the 2.69 acre museum grounds.
